Vineyard to Vintage was founded by home wine makers and viticulturists who know the importance of using high-quality fruit. We have been making wine for over 50 years, and we want to make sure that everyone has access to the best grapes possible, regardless of where they’re located.

The Vineyard to Vintage team manages many small, well-established vineyards in the Sierra Foothills AVA, with a focus on the Fairplay AVA in El Dorado County, CA, as well as both the Shenandoah Valley and Fiddletown AVA’s in Amador County, CA. Many of the vines in this region are 20-40 years of age, with select vineyards being over 100 years old. The Sierra Foothills is known mainly for its Zinfandel, but the area is ideal for many different types of grapes, including Rhone and Bordeaux varietals. The majority of these AVA’s feature volcanic or granitic soil types, making the soils perfect for dry-farming.

Due to our involvement in many of the vineyards that we source from, we are able to pick and process the grapes to the your specifications. While our standard process is to crush, de-stem, and freeze the grapes as must or juice, we can provide also provide refrigerated fresh grapes as well as frozen de-stemmed grapes. Our goal is to provide our customers with the grapes they want.
